Now in its second decade, Festival Opera is committed to bringing professional opera productions at affordable prices to residents of San Francisco's thriving East Bay communities. The third-largest opera company in the Bay Area, Festival Opera is a showcase for talented young artists.

Mission Statement
Festival Opera’s mission is to educate, enlighten and entertain; to preserve and advance the operatic art form, to make opera accessible to a diverse population, and to assist young artists, directors, designers and technicians in their pursuit of careers in the operatic field.

2008 Gala: It's Showtime... and it's opera!
Location: Round Hill Country Club, Alamo
Cost: $250/person

Location: Civic Park, Walnut Creek

Enjoy our free annual opera concert in Civic Park, at Civic and Broadway in downtown Walnut Creek. Join us as featured soloists and the Festival Opera Chorus offer a preview of the upcoming season.
