First Tuesday Vocal Recitals- at noon- First Baptist Church Chapel
downtown Asheville- free parking - lunch ($8 w/ reservation) available after each recital
The first tuesday of every month we will feature a voice recital of a professional opera singer, accompanied by our opera coaching staff. The opera guild wishes to raise money to help develop the careers of local singers. Come join other people in this growing local success story. (For lunch reservation call 669-1991)

Opera Lecture Series - you are invited to join us one hour before each performance where we will present an indepth lecture about the evening's opera production. Find out what it takes to bring an opera to the stage.

Asheville Lyric Opera is a professional, non-profit Opera Company located in Asheville, North Carolina. Because of its location, ALO has provided Western North Carolina a magnitude of theatrical experiences at a central location, the Diana Wortham Theatre, in the heart of downtown Asheville.
Mission Statement: Building a professional opera company in Asheville and presenting an educational outreach within area schools and universities, thereby becoming a part of and enhancing the life of the family of arts and culture in Western North Carolina.
